| VISION |
Making Christ fully known
to the Turks, Millet and Rom
enabling them to plant multiplying churches
that impact the world
Explanation of Our Vision Statement
It is the vision of the Bulgaria field to see a rapid and exponential increase of indigenous churches planting churches among the Turks, Millet and Rom.
- Multiplying ethnic Turkish churches in the Turkish regions of Bulgaria.
- Millet believers discipled and envisioned to plant multiplying churches in their own and in unreached mahalles (ghettos), towns and villages-taking the people movement to the very end of their own people and beyond to the ethnic Turks and other people groups.
- Rom believers discipled and envisioned to plant multiplying churches in their own and in unreached mahalles, towns and villages-taking the people movement to the very end of their own people and beyond to other people groups.
As a field, our vision is not limited by political borders. We believe that God has placed Bulgaria at the threshold of the Turkic world. We believe that God's desire is to see the fire of spiritual renewal spread from the Rom, Millet and Bulgarian ethnic people movements to their Turkish neighbours in Bulgaria and out across the borders into the Balkans, Turkey, Central Asia and the world. We are committed to facilitate the spread of this fire.
What We Do
Our field works in ministry teams to facilitate church planting movements amongst the Turks, Millet and Rom. Some essential team activities are:
- Actively promoting widespread prayer among believers in Bulgaria and overseas
- Widespread sowing of the gospel - including the production and distribution of appropriate literature and other media to prepare the community for Christ and present the Gospel.
- Where there are existing believers, to persevere in discipling, envisioning and training them so that they plant multiplying churches. This includes ministry for children and youth.
- To find and train people who will influence their communities for Christ, and facilitate the growth of house/cell churches. We want local believers to become the primary church-planters.
- Mentor local, lay church leaders who in turn develop other leaders. All teaching and training needs to be reproducible in terms of materials and methodology so that churches can keep on planting churches that plant churches.<
