• evangelising, discipling and planting churches that seek to multiply both nationally and cross culturally;

• using every means to proclaim Christ by word and by demonstrating His compassion in lifestyle and ministry. This may include ministries that meet people's felt needs such as medical work, education, rural development, social relief, business activities, media, ministry to children at risk and in crisis, as well as Bible correspondence and study programmes;

• training local leaders and pastors, empowering them to give godly leadership to their churches;

• assisting local churches in special tasks as requested, such as Bible training, leadership training, cross-cultural outreach, translation work and medical training;

• researching and distributing information about areas of need and worldwide mission activity;

• presenting the need of the unevangelised world and challenging Christians and churches with their responsibility before God;

• recruiting and sending out workers who will commit themselves to make the evangelisation of the whole world the main objective of their lives;

• recruiting part-time workers who share the same spirit as full-time workers;

• establishing national sending bases and mobilisation centres;

• developing missionary training colleges (MTCs) and other orientation facilities for the equipping of workers for service with WEC International and other missions;

• working together with churches and other agencies that have a similar vision;

• providing infrastructures (as needed) to support field operations. These may include schools for workers' children, language learning centres, business agencies and retirement facilities.
