Heart Music for the nations

Ethnodoxology is a specialized application of "Ethnomusicology" - the study of music in relation to culture. The focus of ethnodoxology is the study of how the peoples of the world may declare the praise of God using their own heart language, heart music and other art forms. 

Ethnodoxology = peoples + praise. 

Singing worship to God in familiar musical forms frees our hearts to ‘worship in spirit and in truth'. Enabling this is the exciting task of musicians in church planting. 

It is with this liberating motive in mind that a growing number of WEC'smissionaries take time to learn the musical language of their chosenpeople group, so that they can communicate the message more effectively, and toinspire the new believers and churches to sing and write new songs to theirSaviour.
