Evangelical Church of Ghana
The national church that came into being through the earlier ministry of the WEC was registered with the Ghanaian government in 1977 as the Evangelical Church of Ghana.

thumb_ecglog.pngToday ECG has about 6,000 adult members worshipping in over 150 congregations under the care of about 60 pastors. The congregations are found in every region of Ghana but the majority of the membership originate from the three regions of northern Ghana. Services are held in the vernacular spoken by the majority of the congregation sometimes with a translation into English or Twi depending on the mixture of the congregation.

In 2007, the year that coincided with Ghana's 50 years of independence, ECG celebrated its 30th anniversary.
