WEC Ghana is made up of people from different national and cultural backgrounds who share the same vision and have responded to a call from God to work in Ghana.

Christopher and Sue Kim

Christopher and Sue, from the Korean community in the USA, are focussing on sharing the Good News in the Dagbon area of northern Ghana. At the same time they are seeking to develop future leaders for the church who will go on to share the Good News with their own people.  Christopher also serves as the Field Co-ordinator while Sue is responsibile for the Accra guest house.

Joshua and Caterina Siu

Joshua and Caterina from Hong Kong have been involved in church planting ministry in Ghana for more than 20 years. Their passion has not only been to see people come to faith in Christ but also to see their lives improved. In particular they want to see young people have better opportunities for education. Since 2003, they have been in Tamale building a computer and business training college and from 2006, they also began work on a  kindergarten.

Hee Nam Lee and Eun Young

Hee Nam and Eun Young with their son Chun Hyun and daughter Su Ji come from Korea. Their heart is to share the Good News with people in the residential areas to the north of Tamale. They are focussing particularly on reaching whole households and taking up opportunities to teach the Bible in local schools.

Ivy Wong

Ivy comes from Hong Kong.  Her desire is to see people in the Wala communities saved and their lives transformed. She is working closely with the church leaders in Wa. They are praying for a spiritual revival that will impact both the churches and the surrounding communities. Ivy has been very active finding different opportunies to share the Good News with the Wala people. She has also begun a building project to set up a vocational and computer training centre to equip young people with employable skills.

Chang Soo Kim and Young Joo

Chang Soo and Young Joo come from Korea. Their goal is to plant churches among the unreached people in the Upper East of Ghana and to make Christ better known through training and evangelism. They have been working closely with the Evangelical Church of Ghana in Bolgatanga helping to plant churches in the surrounding villages and providing leadership training.

June comes from the UK. Her passion is to see the name of Jesus held in high honour in her own life and in the life of the church in Ghana.  She wants to be a vehicle of spiritual transformation wherever God leads her. Since 1999, June has been living in Kumasi, the second largest city in Ghana. Her main ministry has been teaching and writing discipleship training materials for adults. She also edits the Ghana Prayer Update.
