• September to October.  Please pray for showers of blessing for the rainy season, which began on May 16, that the crops this year will be sufficient for the country.  Until the end of June, the rain has been less than usual.

• September. Please pray for those who will be having short breaks during the northern summer, our rainy season here.  May the Lord refresh each worker and encourage them in their desire to serve Him here.
• September.  Moving.  Hans and Carla are moving when the rains allow to Buba in the south.  Please pray for the completion of the house, setting up and building relationships with key people in Buba.  Ritha is also moving within Gabu from one house to another house.

Praise the Lord with us for the following

• New Leaders.  Titus and Ruth, both single, should be returning from their respective countries in September to take over as leaders of the field.  Praise the Lord for His choice of them and His enabling and equipping them for the task.

• Trekkers.  Three short term workers, known as Trekkers, have completed their time on the field.  They were all greatly appreciated having contributed to the work in various places.  Two more will be leaving by the end of September and others will be arriving in August and September.  Please pray for their adjustment to the language, culture and the field.

• Bill and Linda, a mature couple with adult children, are preparing to come to manage our HQ later this year.  This is a wonderful answer to prayer, after some years.  They have all of the gifts and experience needed and we rejoice and praise the Lord for them.  Please pray for all that they need to do before leaving their country to come here and for the Lord's provision in every way.

• Openness to the Good News.  People are still very much open to the Good News and want to hear, especially testimonies of what the Lord is doing today in the lives of His people.  Radio, Jesus film and all possible means are being used to offer people a chance to hear about and come to know their Creator.
