


FounderCharles Thomas Studd (C.T. as he is often known) made his first advance to evangelise the heart of Africa in 1913, believing it to be the neediest part of the unevangelised world at that time, and so founded the Heart of Africa Mission. God's promise to C.T. Studd was that his journey was not for the heart of Africa only, but for the whole unevangelised world. The work spread to other nations concentrating on areas and peoples who were not being reached by evangelical churches or agencies. This emphasis continues today.
