The Michel family moved to Ziguinchor in the summer of 2006, after having worked three years in the Senegal River Valley. Peter and Corinna will be involved in one of the three AEES (Evangelical Alliance of Senegal) churches. Seriana and Josia attend local French schools.
In the town centre of Ziguinchor, district of Santhiaba, Ouffi and Olga Boli lead a group of about 20 believers and 20 children that meet in their home. Their goal is to have a church ground/building in that area, as there isn't any other evangelical church in the town centre.
The women's group dyes cloth, batik material and makes necklesses.
Peter has been training project with Fidele to repairs moped and this is called the Mofa project. On the 26th May 2008 a container was put into place as a workshop for Fidele in Ziguinchor.
