Starting a Word Worldwide Bible study ministry in your country or language

If you sense that the Lord is leading you to start a Word Worldwide study in your area, please contact us by sending an email to the address given on the 'Further Information' page.

 

Please note the following before making contact:

→ You should include your personal testimony of how you came to active faith in Jesus as your Lord and Saviour and a brief testimony of how the Lord led you to the Word Worldwide studies.

→ The name, address and telephone number (including email address if possible) of your pastor or church leader should be included in your correspondence. We will require permission from you to approach your pastor or church leader for a reference.

Word Worldwide is part of a 'faith' mission. We believe that the Lord provides finances for His work. We may join you in praying for financial provision for the start and continuation of the Bible study ministry in your area. We are unable to provide financial support to existing ministries or to ministries other than Word Worldwide.

Results of a Media Survey

In January 2010 we surveyed all the WEC workers around the world to find out what media they use to teach the Bible.  Although the printed word is the medium most often used, video and oral media also scored highly, (see chart below).

Some workers shared an interesting concept using the latest mobile phone technology, and we received requests to develop specific resources.  One leader has asked us to work on a series of booklets containing chronological Bible stories in easy English.  She commented that such booklets are needed both for evangelism and also for discipling believers.  Another worker provided materials that had been developed on a WEC field that could be translated into other languages.

We will be thinking through the implications of the survey results for Word Worldwide's future strategy.
