Further translations into Sinhala?
A member of the WW Committee in Sri Lanka is prepared to translate further studies into Sinhala, but the Committee would like to see more Sinhala speakers use the existing studies before embarking on new translations. Pray for interest to be shown across all the church traditions in Sri Lanka.

Positive Results from Media Survey
In January 2010 we surveyed all the WEC workers around the world to find out what media they use to teach the Bible.  Although the printed word is the medium most often used, video and oral media also scored highly.  Some workers shared an interesting concept using the latest mobile phone technology, and we received requests to develop specific resources - much to keep us busy with in the coming days.

Visit to India and Pakistan
We had an encouraging visit to India and Pakistan.  In India we dedicated the four new Telugu studies to the Lord's use, and distributed one free copy to the pastors, Bible women, and evangelists.  In Pakistan we had a worthwhile business meeting with the National Co-ordinator, Pastor Nazir Gill, and began negotiations with a Christian publisher to print and publish the Urdu studies.  See the photo slideshow .....

Please pray that the translated books of Living Light Bible studies in the Telugu language will give a great impact in the readers' hearts.  Also pray that the presence of the Lord will guide the readers to know more about the love of the Lord and will come closer to Him.

News from a country in South Asia using the WW studies
At present three groups are meeting.  Two husbands are attending the study group having been influenced by the witness of their wives.  Last year four members of a family were baptised - a very joyous event.
